AN UPDATE OF A SIMULATION STUDY OF PASSIVELY HEATED RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS
Main Article Content
Abstract
A simulation study of passively heated residential buildings” Procedia Engineering 2015 showed how circulating water heated by a 50 m borehole to a floor radiator and solar-heated water to a wall radiator could keep Australian residential buildings thermally comfortable. A 2 m3 indoor tank isused to store water heated by 3 m2evacuated tube solar collector at 50 ºC by end summer to buffer the lower solar radiation and higher heating demands in winter. This paper presents updates.
