As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • Where available, URLs and DOI for the references have been provided.
  • The text is double-spaced; uses a 12-point font; all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Submission or below.
  • You are submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal - the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
  • It is not possible to change content and authors of already published paper or to remove the paper.
  • The authors are required to provide ORCIDs for all the contributing authors.
  1. Authors can upload submissions in Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx) or OpenOffice (.odt) formats. For initial submission we recomend to upload the submission as PDF file - it allows editors and reviewers to view the manuscript easily.
  2. Submission must contains:
    • Title
    • Abstract (~200 words)
    • Keywords (max. 5)
    • Text (introduction, main text, conclusion)
    • Reference list
    Author(s) name(s), name and address of workplace(s), personal e-mail address(es) will be entered in a separate form during submission uploading.
  3. Tables must be created as a MS Word format. Do not paste tables as an MS Excell object or image.
  4. Figures must be inserted as a raster image (originating from PNG, JPG, TIFF, GIF or BMP formats) in sufficient resolution (about 1500 x 2000 pixels for full page figure)
  5. Equations should be typed using an MS Word Equations tool.
  6. All pages must be numbered consecutively.
  7. The whole text should be formatted with no hyphenation and automatic word-wrap.
  8. Manuscript pages should have line numbers.
  9. The font size should be 12 points.
  10. References should be done according to ISO 690 - please see Instructions for authors on references.
